Umm, of course? The I9 hub is proprietary, meaning that it can only be laced with I9 spokes as well. They do make a conventional hubset as well, but it's easy to tell from the picture that these are the more common center pull I9 wheels.

That doesn't make it right to put it in the wrong section just because it gets traffic. When I'm shopping for a DH bike, I don't want to see a motorized anything. I'm pretty sure I'm not alone...

I'm confused - it looks like you have 5 gears back there, but that those 5 gears take up the full width of the freewheel... what am I missing?

You too could be a lucky SoB for the low, low price of $1849.99!! But call now, because quantities are limited, and when they're gone, they're GONE!!!

Contact Nicolai directly - keep in mind they're ridiculously expensive and usually frame only - you have to buy the shock separately, so the retails prices are even worse. Plus, the M-Pire isn't made anymore, which is a huge bummer, because it was the best hardcore DH frame they ever made.

Nicolai is a company in Germany, but they do have a US presence as Nicolai USA. All the manufacturing and engineering happens in Germany though - the US branch is just a distributor essentially.

That frame happens to look a lot like the old M1 in design. You really don't hear too many people rip on it. Yeah, there are better linkages out there, but that doesn't mean that this frame is shit. Sure, it's a KHS, but dude, why the hate? It's a sweet bike and a great price.

Interesting.
The rear wheel clearly has dents, but those technically don't affect the trueness of the rim (as already stated). Your "opinion" is unfounded because also as stated, you can't tell how true a wheel is from looking at the side of it. Your opinions are only as good as the reasons you have to support them. Since you seem a little slow, I'll spell it out for you: you have no evidence to support your opinion, so your opinion is worthless in this case. Get used to it kid, this is the real world. What your mommy told you about your opinion mattering is a bunch of crap if you're crazy, stupid or ignorant.

Just an FYI, but the older D321 (what you have/what is pictured) is the same as the new EX729, not the 721. The new classification is that it's "7" series of rims, which are the highest performance non-tubeless rims they make, and that the internal width of the rim is 29mm (which translates to about 38mm or so of external width).

Wow, I actually enjoy juvenility. I can't believe that MarcR is so childish. Dude, he has an 9 series BMW, you have a Civic. Stop wasting your time, the BMW is out of your league. The more you talk, the stupider you appear. Sure, for a Civic, you have a cool car, but it won't ever compare to an 8 series BMW. No, I am not suggesting you spend/waste all your money on a car, that would be dumb. Try being happy with what you have.

I thought I'd chime in. I bought a pair of these last fall, and I really like them. They're not ultra-durable like the seller says (they don't look almost new after a year's worth of use), but I wouldn't want them to. They're grips, and they're supposed to be soft and wear! I have been using mine on my DH bike, and while they have worn off the texture in certain areas, they still grip great and look good, and they're even lighter than before! So yeah, for this price, get them. FYI, they are not the squishiest grips, but if you want squishy, don't get lockons, get regular grips as there's a lot more rubber for cushion. Lockons have a plastic sleeve that adds clampability, but reduces the squish. For the best in control, I'd get these again. Surprisingly fast shipping too.

Seriously. Are you retarded in the literal sense of the word? If so, my apologies. But if you're just some punk lying teenager, then read on. You can't say "never used" if it's been used. Used means that it's been installed on a bike and ridden. It's got mud on it, so it's obviously been used. Take "never used" out of your title - people know that you're lying, and because it's so obvious that you're lying, no one will trust a word that you say because you're obviously a stupid liar. It's douchebags like yourself that make the used bike parts market more dangerous. Your selling privileges should be revoked for misrepresentation. On a side note, if anyone wants to buy used parts from an honest seller, I have lots of stuff for sale. And I don't lie.

On a side note, I really don't think that Fox ever made an 8.5" x 2.0", but I have been surprised by some custom sizes. I'd be willing to bet that Nomade20000, who actually liquidates a lot of Santa Cruz stuff, actually has 8.5" x 2.5" shocks, which were stock on the Nomad, and put on clearance on the SC website a while back. I know for sure that the Float exists in an 8.5" x 2.5" because I have a PUSHed one right next to me.

Okay people.
Different bikes are designed for different length shocks. The two "lengths" of a shock are Eye to Eye, which is the distance between the eyelets on either end, and usually ranges from 5" to 10.5". The other length is "stroke" which is the length that the shock can be linearly compressed. This usually ranges from 1" to 3". Your frame's rear wheel travel is dictated by the leverage ratio of your linkage. Your frame's leverage ratio is the amount of linear (vertical) rear wheel travel to the length that the shock compresses linearly. Most bikes are between 2.5 and 3.5. So, for instance, if you have a leverage ratio of 3, and the stroke length shock on your bike is 2", then your bike gets 6" of travel, because for every inch that the shock compresses, the rear wheel travels 3x that. Compress the shock 1", and the rear will travel 3". Each shock gives each bike a different amount of travel, depending on the leverage ratio of the bike and the stroke length of the shock. The Eye to Eye (or i2i) length usually not very flexible on your bike. With most bikes today, if you have a 7.5" i2i shock right now, you won't be able to put an 8.5" i2i shock on - it won't fit. Plus, manufacturers design bikes around a specific shock, so even if you can squeeze in a longer shock, it'll mess up your leverage ratio curve, which might lead to bobbing, strange topping out, horrible feel off drops, etc. etc... just because it fits doesn't mean it's going to work well. Unless you can map your leverage ratio curve on graph paper, you're not knowledgeable enough to stray from the "stock" size shock on your bike. If you need more travel, get a different frame.

What if? Nothing would change the outcome of the election. I think that more than anything, American's wanted a change from Republican policies.
What would have been interesting is if Obama was on the GOP ticket...

I have the frame listed in the Buy and Sell - search for an Ellsworth Moment with a picture that looks like the one above. Yes, I'll ship to APO, it was barely ridden at all (seriously). This is not a fragile frame.

Clearly my bias against Norco's came through in my last comment, which is beside the point. The point that I was trying to make was simply that I don't think a new 2007 Norco Team DH is worth $6300 in trade, because regardless of what the retail price is on one, I don't think that they're worth that much (actual street value). I found the retail price of the 2007 to be just over $6000 CAD, and I found ads where new 2007 Team DH's sold for half that. I hope I'm making the point better that I was trying to make before that $6300 for both sleds seems like a good deal, but $6300 for a new 2007 Norco Team DH doesn't (because I can get one for $3000 CAD or less). But I guess the point is if it's worth it in the eye of the person who owns the sleds. If it is, fine, but I'm guessing it's not. It's the people that propose frustrating trades that started this whole thing. If only people wouldn't propose stupid trades...
And on a side note, ryda69er, your superior intellect is shining through in your above comment. Way to represent.
